Sweetly Corrupt
I had always known Refined sugar was not so good for health, but how bad is it in real?
too much sugar brings diabetes, it harms the white blood cells, makes you put on weight and candies cause your teeth to rot. That's not so much is it? I agree, exactly what I had thought, limited amounts may be fine.
Yesterday, as I hear an ayurvedic doctor speak on TV, I got some new info on our beloved refined sugar. they were:
a. sugar helps you to feel weak and tired
b. cancer cells' favorite food is sugar (well, cancers' got a sweet tooth :P)
c. It helps you age faster. (wowie, we will wrinkle soon)
d. It weakens eyesight (I shall revenge all who may even think of playing with my eyesight!)
e. Helps you forget soon (we are going to have a lot of Ghajini like people :P)
f. It slows your usage of brain and makes you unable to think. (And I was wondering why I see more dumb people)
g. last but not the least, it helps you to absorb less nutrients.
And which country uses most sugar? It is the our Incredible India!
Now I wonder who is the bright spark who thought of refining sugar. See what happens when you mess with nature!!
Another Interesting fact : A sweet substance that helps cure diabetes is called molasses. And what is Molasses? It is nothing but the residue of Jaggery (unrefined sugar cane sap) when refining it to produce..... 'refined sugar'
nice concept : take the bad and leave the good
